Where to start?,well my immaculate 2001 Td5 looks great, goes great but takes great pleasure in being somewhat camber sensitive.Ruts and undulations have me hanging on to maintain my chosen course.Smooth tarmac no problem, snow and cobbles still ok,Sheffield tarmac, nightmare!.I have replaced all the usual stuff and even fitted new factory spec 18" wranglers. All bushes in rear axle have been sorted too.Now what?,please HELP!.Broomy

Steering arm loose on the steering box splined shaft/spindle. Check the tightness of the nut - it needs to be something humungous like 300n/m.

Thankyou all for your feedback.Think i might be busy this weekend.Dont really want to go for 16s tho.18s look cool.

They may look cool but low profile rubber on a 2 ton offroader will tramline like a bugger

Changed the 18" rims to 16" on my wandering, tramlining beast - No more problems - drives perfectly

If some one would be so kind, what is this tramlining?

following the cracks, ruts or uneven contours of the tarmac-most likely comes from tram(trolley bus) days when cars would drive over tram tracks and affect the steering.
