sold me a defender that was a write off,they got it back now and its up for sale again,no mention of that though.pluss i had it inspected was told there is alot wrong with it.
so beware.
 
spoke to trading standards,nothing they can do,said they are not obliged to tell me....
 
Disturbingly this has a ring to it like another dealer that used to trade in the very near vicinity. :mad:
 
I've not long ago bought a 110 V8 from them. Seemed tidy and a good price. But, it stinks of fuel and the fuel gauge doesn't work. They had put a new Crossmember on, before I bought it. I contacted them but they weren't returning my calls or e-mails. So I took it to a local place. They ahd a look over it. Turns out the Fuel sender had been disconnected and it's got a wrong crossmember on it. It's also got a split fuel pipe and they have convered it underneath in Thick underseal, which the local place to em recommends I scrape and sand off and apply a thinner, 3m product, as the thick stuff has been applied on top of rusty stuff.

I've got a relatively sounds car, but the communciation with them was very bad adn I was dissapointed that they didn't want to know about em after I'd drivern away.

The local garage to me said they ahve a bad reputation..

They're a bunch of swindling inbred half-wits.


A mate bought a 4x4 from 'em when they were still at Walton-on-Thames.

He didn't have any problems with his 4x4, but looking around some of their other stock, they could easily be confused with a breakers yard.
