Hi guys,
got a couple of nice new shiny waffle boards that are slightly too long to lay lengthways in my boot.
I'd like to carry them due to being a member of rover rescue so I thought maybe i have two options:
1;) bolt them to a bracket off my spare wheel - will it take the extra weights?
2;) Buy a brownchurch roofrack?!

Any of you carry them on your freebie regularly and if so where and how do you fix them.

many thanks

Sorry totally off topic, what's rover rescue?

Breckland Land rover Club that im with run a type of rescue service.
In wintery weather we ship doctors/carers/vunerable people about in the snow and ice....get involved in charity work where volunteers need to get across ground by a landrover (race for life events, biking competitions in forests etc). We also work closely with rest centres in the area wehre we liase with emergency services to collect/fetch people from their homes etc and take them to the rescue centre if there is flooding/harsh road conditions...pick up more beds etc.

Basically as land rovers are our hobby its nice to be able to do volunteer work to help other people out whilst enjoying our trucks :)

Im pretty sure other land rover clubs must participate too. This is my first year so I dont know a great deal about it or how it works nationally.

Do they fit with the seats down?
Can you just drop the passenger side rear ?
I can't see that fitting them on the spare would be a problem folks hang multiple push bikes off them.

Rear wheel would easily take their weight. Judging distances out of your back window may be a problem though.

Personally i'd put them on the roof.

thanks for the tips lads...should have done a poll :0)

got a farm jack. that's needs putting on board too! eerk
