DOH.. was sure the subject had changed to snorkels.. can't keep up...

can you not just fit longer hoses to the fittings that are already there?

Most kits you just cut the breather pipe and fit a pushfit straight connector to the cut pipe and then extend the breather using a new length of hosing.

ere ya go...

yeah I had seen them.. had assumed you took the old ones off and replaced them with this.. couldn't work out why you woudln't just put longer bits of hose on the ones that are there anyway...

I just pulled the existing pipes off and replaced with clear silicone pipes for an aquarium. Seals brilliantly and 'cos it's clear you can get an idea fo where it's blocked if you get water or ****e in it .. ;)

this would be my plan but gonna wait till I sort out a hidden snorkel type thingy...

they're like 2 little hooks of plastic tubing IIRC - I had to take the gearbox surround off the top inside the cab to find them on my old disco

I got my kit today and its all on but the gearbox/transfer breathers!!!!

I can feel them on the top of the gearbox but then they dissapear and i cant find where they come out in the engine bay !!!

Got me totally stumped ??

They have to come out somewhere

Mine come out behind the brake servo assist and up to the plenum moulding.
