I'm going to buy some new pipes for the airfilter as soon as I get paid then Ill get round to sealing them! How do I remove and seal the pipe that goes to the wing?

I took the washer bottle and heater matrix out then it was a really easy job, just silicon it up and stick it on there. If you don't remove them it's a right fiddle and you might not get the best seal.

I sealed most of it up off the vehicle to be sure it was done right, you have to strip things down to get it back in once it's a 'one piece'.

My s3 tdi snapped a half shaft whilst off roading, then the stop solenoid packed up!
So we tried all the usual bag blocking tricks and the thing kept running, in the end it was out with the 17mm and crack all the injector pipes to kill it.
I have also tried the same with my 200 90 and it wont stop either!
Have to say the 200 in the video sounds a bit limp ie very slow tickover or something along the same lines?
 
It was cold as I'd only started it to test the snorkel.
It might take more to stop it if it was warmed up but if your snorkel is sealed properly blocking the top will stop the engine no matter what. Not sure about using a bag but cardboard worked great - it's all about getting a good seal
