Well been looking into the recalls for the freelander 1 and yeah theres a few but all seem to be relatively small. better than i expected for such a quality vehicle
Suspension weld on rear subframe
insecurity of locking front seats when folded
engine harness may rub against something and break
handbrake may release
diagnostic connector hasn't got an earth or summit on pin 5
doors fall off when wet
incorrect manufacturer of passenger airbag (not there in my case)
but its a whole new story for freelander 2 (ive been told they are the most reliable landrover you can buy)
vosa doesnt agree
fl2
Sunroof may detach 2008
booster heater may catch fire 2008
ptc sensor fire may occur 2008
fl2 and evoque fire may occur 2013
at the rate they will be classed as the blazing hot freebie (needs some thought going into the really)
