Just looking for alternatives to the overpriced "Dino juice" that me 2A drinks and the money garbbing B**** keep putting up
and I came across this.

is it legal in the UK?

It looks like it could be a bit dangerous but it would turn heads.

Would the money grabbers try and tax wood chips?

CharlesY was on about them in the gaylander section (I think) after a numpty was spoutin off about how he's gonna run his vehicle on water cos he believes the ****e he reads on google.:p :D :D

there was one of them wood pellet powered landies in I think it was LRM about January. Needs 45kg to go 200 miles though - not exactly handy.

Dont think its the weight thats thats the problem, what does a full 18 gallon petrol tank weigh?But that weight of wood will be a large volume!And fuel tanks are designed in to cars whereas not all load areas are great!
 
18 gallons is 81ltr and a ltr weighs approx 1kg (depends on liquid) so about 81kg.
 
An old friend of mine used to do this. Worked quite well for him as he ran a sawmill in the mountains. His crane, welder, forklift, and truck all ran on sawdust. Been thinking of doing the same here 'cept using dried cow poop so i can say it runs on bull****. :rolleyes:

don't push it! nothin wrong with choppin doon trees and destroyin the atmosphere , all in a days work fir me , and if some one wants to run there engine on wood chip thats even better, at least I get a market for the waste product too , all hail capitalisum. :p
