Hi all. I've just bought myself a Range Rover Sport 3.0l Diesel, 2010 model, its mint and it is lovely!

I only picked it up last night.

I have a question. When the ignition is on, car not started the radio can be turned on... but the volume is very low, no matter how much I turn it up. But once I start it, volume is super loud.

Is there a setting to over-ride this?

Kind regards

Matt

Volume has been set to vary with background noise, you need to get into service menu, or radio settings to change it

Just watch your battery as with ignition on and radio on it may not last very long, they are power hungry beasts.

You can turn the radio on without the ignition being on, which is the best thing to do.
These vehicles will flatten a good battery in a few minutes, if the ignition is on and the engine not running.
