I had a single Visteon CD player FL3 CD Europe (VUX500150) which is broke. I was told that I could replace it with the 6 disk version FL5 CDX6 Europe (VUX500220), The problem is there are two connections on the back of the 6 disk unit, can anyone tell me where the second connections goes? Is it for an amplifier or something? Or do I just need a cable from my harness to plug into this second connector? Thanks. This is fitted on a facelift 2004 Freelander.

I have the same question.. couldnt find the answer in other related threads.

What is the small rectangular connection for?

Could it be for a CD Changer ( extern - under the passenger seat?)

Hello I am bringing back from dead this old thread, maybe somebody has an idea by now? I am trying to get sound/aux on top of this.
