Any ideas as to what causses the occasional but violent steering judder on my 110. This occurs at speed after going over a slight bump or change in road surface. cheers in anticipation.

check the bushes in the panhard rod and after all other bushes including steering damper

Take the damper off, check the bushes and see if it compresses and returns freely... easy job and news ones are cheap enough to replace

sounds like steering damper to me... it went on my disco and i thought she'd shake herself to bits only took a morning and a couple of cups of tea.... do't imagine it'd be too much different on a 110

as said before panard rod bushes. mine was exactly the same, was hard to notice play in the old ones with out someone rocking the steering wheel while you check for play.
Replaced them and problem solved. cheap to....
