Good evening, If the chassis Number plate or vin plate is missing in the cab of a series 3 1972 is there a chassis number any were else.as this number is required to obtain a new V5 or (log book) Thanks

Should be stamped on the front off side dumb iron but you can also buy blank ones from eBay and stamp it yourself

have you got anything with the vin number on it like an old mot? or has the po told you what it should be

sometimes the stamp can be hard to find say if the chassis has been painted a few times

Thanks for the info but not yet got a series 3 but seen an add and it says no V5 but to get a new V5 the forms says you have to put down the chassis No or form will be sent back.

I would question why does it not have a V5 document?????
