well the back door is on properly - new hinge pins fitted at £3.50 delivered for the 3. Bargain and it only took 10 minutes to fit all 3 
Door opens and closes lovely now. Old nuts were seized on and the posidrive heads had long since been destroyed so whipped out the grinder and chip chop they were off.

god no, i'd have him there chiselling away... on the forum crying for help until a real man came along and removed his nuts.
Besides there was 3 of em. 2 was bad enough!
yeah pretty much. depends on the top fitment. some have lil pole things and others a bolt bracket iirc. but it's easily modded to fit.

already bought the replacement including the radiator and decent intercooler for cheap

bought a dash top for it as its missing - bargain at a tenner. These fetch serious money at times!
also now have the gearbox and transfer box off trax which i am just converting to defender spec (its a disco r380). Had the young lad in the garage with me to try and teach him how to use some basic tools (aaarrggghhh what a nightmare that was)
Whilst at trax's also had a set of front seats off him in brown vinyl and twill MMMMMMmmmmmm but they match the 2nd row high backs i had kicking about that i thought i would never get a matching front set for so BINGO BANGO!!!
Right I really need to crack on with getting this done now.
So first I need to get the steering working so that i can move it in a controlled manner up the drive.
Then gearbox in and props on.

Well you would have thought that as he was bringing me a windscreen seal, to LZ11. He would have thrown the brackets in as well. But alas no????
