Hello group, my R Registered 110 has started vibrating quite severely recently. I noticed a strange noise coming from underneath last weekend, it was like consistant knocking, yesterday when I went to work the 110 was vibrating when I got to 50-60MPH, so much so that it rattled one of the starter motor connections off. I can't see any visible signs of damage or wear, I did have the clutch replaced about a month ago, could this be suspect.
Any help would be gratefully accepted as I'm hoping to sell next week and upgrade to a newer model, but I would'nt sell knowing it had a fault.
Regards

Thanks for the replies, I used the car for work today and the noise has increased to a high pitch when under load i.e When accelerating, vibrating quite a lot. Had the UJ replaced on the transfer box about a month ago. I replaced the rear oil seals last week on the 110 and noticed the bearings were in very good condition, packed them with grease and refitted them so I'd like to rule these out. I think my initial thought regarding the clutch may have been unfounded and I'm thinking that it may be one of the front wheel bearings going, is there an easy way to determine which one it could be, ie jacking up the car and rolling the wheels?
Any advice appreciated

Just grab the wheel top and bottom and feel for any movement, may also be worth checking your engine mounts seeing as you say it does it under acceleration.

Thanks for the comments guys. Got under the 110 today, the UJ on the front propshaft is shot. Can anyone supply me with one of these sharpish?
Regards
Dennis

Do you have a local landrover independent near you or a parts dealer? If not you could use paddock spares, john craddocks etc online or pm iannotts on here. He runs axletwister 4x4.
