Hi. I'm new to the site. Bought my first landrover just before christmas. Well pleased with it. Should have bought one years ago. I'm quite good with repairing most types of car but this has got me beat up to now. When i purchased the freelander TD4 o2 plate no problems with it. But now i have a vibration between 15 and 25 mph. Have replaced drive shafts and lower ball joints. Removed propshaft to eliminate it and diff. Car drives well over this speed but it seems to be worse when i've done a few miles. Also put tyres front to rear. Any ideas please??

ird

dunno what that means but it seems to be the main problem in gaylanders!

how does vibration start, braking or just driving? does it appear accelerating and decelerating ? ddoes vibration come through body or steering wheel?

only does it through seats and gear lever. nothing on the steering wheel at all. is worse if you accelerate hard. Does not do it when slowing down or braking.

Ah...you have the optional extra fitted to some.......Freelander 'pleasure stimulator'

Remember to carry wetwipes to clean gear lever after:eek:
