Hi all, just wondering if any of you had similar issue- Disco 2 Td5 manual. When I try to move on 1st gear, just by releasing clutch pedal (not pressing gas pedal) my car gets some strange vibration until the clutch will be fully released. I've changed whole clutch set including dual mass flywheel all from Valeo two months ago and both clutch cylinders. Could be still some clutch related issue or something else? Cheers!

Did you replace the Spigot bush? Check tightness of propshafts, is handbrake adjustment too tight? Have the coolant pipe tabs been trapped between block & bell housing>?

I did replace the spigot bush. Handbrake is fine, also been fully replaced last year. All pipes are free, I'm driving the car daily with no issues just that vibration. Front propshaft is fine, rear one has got slight loose on rear diff, it can be notice when I'm changing gears in "harder" accelerating. Also, not sure if it's connected, but noticed slight wheel vibration/jumping when setting off, something like ABS movement style. Just wondering if it may be transfer box and too much loose there. Or maybe suspension/struts? Any good way to check/eliminate the transfer box?

Just one more thing in my head. Because I've had an issue with bleeding the clutch system (it took me good few hours), maybe it's still got some air in there, that's why the clutch is making these vibrations?

I know the exact noise.

mine has done this once or twice before.

its when I go into 1st gear and start releasing the clutch it will make this little hum noise. it sounds like a pump is kicking in. (Only when my car is cold)

Im not most clued up about the Disco's so please someone correct me, but could this be a worn crank spigot bearing??
I was told when I bought my car they did not change this when they changed the clutch

Im pretty certain this could be the problem for me. so at some point that will be on my list of things to do.

Following thread though as I feel we have the same issue

I did change that spigot bush when changed the clutch, but now I'm just so confused about that, I think will take the gearbox out again.
