Hi clutch dust, I have this same rumble coming through the seats when accelerating, so you're driveshaft change solved the problem which has saved me a lot of finding so thank you, could you tell me how much 2 driveshafts cost, much appreciated,

Front drive shafts do cause vibration under acceleration. But so can the support bearings in the IRD or gearbox.
Don't bother with cheap drive shafts as they vibrate again very quickly. Buy OE and you should solve the problem, as long as the support bearings in the box and IRD are ok.

Thanks for that, mine is the td4 se auto and I have only just had it so not familiar with it yet, seems to be just after moving off say second gear when I accelerate you feel a rumble through the seats then it seems to clear, any idea of price on oe shafts, suppose I should check them out to see if there's any play etc

hi looking for a solution to a WOBBLE rather than a vibration under load everyone is talking of a vibration which has been the drive shafts but i don't have a vibration as it is not that fast it is more a wobble or osculation of the gear stick and velt through the car and not the steering, could this still be the cv joints or something else?

The lower engine tie bar large bush goes soft over the years. This is often the cause of such wobbles.
