Been working on my 2003 Disco, carried out loads of work and must have upset something as I now have a strong vibration that I can feel in the steering wheel but only between 30mph & 40 mph.
Its a high frequency vibration and its very strong in the steering wheel, I have done several jobs on her in the past month as listed below.
I have checked both the front & rear Props and they feel fine, no play and no roughness in them.
Work done over the past month.
New Engine Mounts (Land Rover)
New Gearbox Mounts (Land Rover)
New Steering Damper (Bilstein B6 Gas)
Discs all 4 corners (Paddocks, drilled & slotted)
Pads all 4 corners
Polybush Kit (Britpart)
Brake Pipes all 4 corners
R380 (Ashcrofts)
L230 (Ashvrofts)
I must have upset something, either that or when they road tested the hand brake and yanked it on when the Disco was moving, maybe they bent something.
Track & balance done today, but made no difference.
Any suggestions welcome.
