Hi
Looking for some advice.
I have a 97 disco 1 that is giving me a quite horrible vibration as I go along. When I pull of the clutch is fine so I am ruling this out eg clutch slipping.
So what is happening. As I get to 40 mph and higher there is a vibration that seems to come from the back of the car. If I slow down it seems to go but then some 10 seconds later it comes back.
The disco has a 40 mm lift on es9000 shocks and HD springs and it is running on 235/85/16 insa turbos.
I am thinking that there is a problem with the propshaft somewhere, I am assuming the UJ may be the issue??
If this is the problem do you think it will be worth fitting a wide angle prop to the car?? Would you fit wide angled props front and rear, or should I just do one and the other when I can afford it??
Appreciate any knowledge out there
Cheers
