Hi Guys!

My 300tdi disco has a problem. When I'm doing over 50mph... the entire car shakes loads. Lots of this appears to be coming through the steering wheel.
Has anybody had a problem like this before... what was wrong?

sounds like the front wheels need balancing mate. about a tenner at most tyre fitting centres. i also had the similar problem caused by a fooked propshaft uj but that was noticable at much lower speed. ie above 15mph.

I had a similar problem, got them balanced and they found a knackered tyre. £52 for a Colway and its all sorted

check you'r track rod ends mine went and caused a massive shake over 50mph.

if the vibes go when speeding up then almost certainly its a wheel balance problem.
otherwise prop/steering ujs or TR ends.
