Since fitting sawtooth alloys and BFG 265/75/16 tyres my steering shakes (rotates by about 1-2 degresse up and down) a lot and its incredibly irritating.
I had them balanced and again re-balanced. Now the steering is much better, 'only' shaking between 60-90kmh. Between 90-115km its ok and then shakes again 115-140kmh (top speed). The second person which re-balanced them said they were very badly balanced the first time...so I am guessing they aren't quite perfect even after the second time. There are a lot of weights on the inside wheel surface.
Is this still likely to be a wheel balance issue? Or should I fit a new steering damper to help?
