Hi guys my clutch pedal when engaging is very annoyingly squeeky on my FL1 anyone else have this problem and can advice on making this bloody noise go away.

Cheers adam

Is it the clutch pedal itself thats squeaky? if so give the spring at the pedal pivot a greasing.

If its a squeal from the clutch itself when the pedal is pressed then possibly a failing clutch release bearing which is a gearbox out job to fix.

Yeah its the clutch pedal itself that is squeaky i will give the spring a good grease to see if that solves it thanks for the advice.

Hiya mine did this....and it's really annoying......you need to apply grease quite liberally....if you get a small torch shine it up under the dash and you will see a spring .... if you touch the spring and operate the pedal a bit....you will feel the sping is actually scraping the pedal arm during operation (bad design) apply plenty of grease in that area (preferably moly grease) and it should gradually become allot better. Good lck mine drove me nuts......there is still a tiny squeak but it is 10 time better.
