As the name implies, my 200 disco has a leeky coolant system, but I'm not sure where exactly, it's alarmingly quick in that most of the coolant will disapear within a week! Even if left standing!

Are there any places I should look that are common to 200s at all?

Do 200's have leaky P gaskets like 300's?
It is possible that it is leaking only when the engine is hot, with the coolant evaperating immediately, but you should see tell tale anti-freeze stains around the area it is leaking from.
Could it be a head gasket problem?

Silly question, but where's the P gasket then? I hope it's not the head gasket! It doesn't have any other head gasket symptoms, I don't think, what would other head gasket symptoms be then?

on a 300 the P gasket is between the block and the "bracket" that the water pump is on

Had exactly the same problem on my 300 mate, get the engine up to temperature, pull over, pop the bonnet make sure coolant level is high and watch for water / vapour from around the P gasket.
Quite a simple job to do and wont cost that much.

Heater matrix, do you get a funny smell when you put the heater on and is the carpet wet ? or wetter than normal .

I don't think it's heater related, I'll check the P gasket and I'll have a good look round for leaks when it's at running temp, fookin cars!
