International is a worldleading engine manufacturer and produces the original Land Rover 300 Tdi engines for years already.
Now a new, modern version of this engine is available: the HS 2.8 TGV.
Based on the 300 Tdi, this engine has a bigger displacement, adjustable turbo, reinforced crankshaft and many more innovative techniques.
This results in a 20% powerrate increase and a 30% higher torque
Prins Motoren, specialised in the supply of diesel engines and generators, such as Kubota and Massey Ferguson, is the official distributor for International engines.
We can also deliver the HS 2.8 TGV to all Land Rover drivers.
The 2.8 Powerstroke was their improved version of it.
The VM engines are Italian

its a 300 tdi thats someone has restamped the wrong number ,a few years ago a good percentage of used parts were nicked,it was surprising how much ,it was a mistake alot of people made as quite a few of lr engines are 2.5 litre

it is out of a disco for whatever thats worth i would certainly ask why someone has restamped the wrong number ,it wouldnt look good to anybody that knows anything about lrs
