i have a 1990 Defender 90 200 TDI, and I cleaned up the swivel ball and replaced the seals and needed new rotors. I put vented rotors on my front axle. I am purchasing those calipers as well. Is this an issue. I am hearing it can work and it can’t work. Please help me out as I ordered the parts already and have the rotors already mounted.

Why? Do you do a lot of high speed heavy braking?

Can't see why it won't work, presumably the calipers are the same size as the 90 calipers, other than having a thicker centre section to accommodate the thicker discs.

I don’t. Normal driving but really just wanted to go with vented.

it was a common upgrade, there no difference to the system whether vented or non vented calipers are fitted it doesnt effect master cylinder
