fit like

due to house hunting eating all my money over winter my landys languishing in the drive needing an MOT and insurance and tax (as well as some further work)

ive bought a house(and subsequently im now skint ) and although its not far away im not willing to drive it on the open roads as thats very naughty

wondering if anyone would be able to help with a trailer to move it from near banchory(not auchenblae as my profile says in the corner) to near peterculter sometime before april 22nd for some unofficial beer tokens and muchoes thanks

starts and drives so not an issue to drive onto a trailer.

nah i dont

since i posted this ive since found out that its a big ask to ask someone i dont know to do this as effectively it would be about as bad as me driving it on the road (unless they are a taco`d haullier)

i have a friend in dundee with a landy and trailer , ill ask him if he wouldnt mind and cover his costs and time + few pints - seems fairer than asking a stranger to break the law !

Huvny got a car trailer either.. but I reckon i could get hold of one without a massive hassle ... gie's a shout if you get stuck too !... along with Scotsman, I'll easy help ye out :)

yes we are all doing well thanks,g/sons 8th birthday party tomorrow.i am not going though,too many feckin kids screeming and shouting for my liking.:mad::mad:.you will be more than welcome matey.will be good to meet up again.:D:cool2:

The mrs tells me we got the keys to our new gaff today - cant wait to get out of the rented shoe box and have my workshop back from storage !

Terry if you are still stuck near the end date, my nephew has a friend between Brechin and Montrose with a car transporter trailer which I could probably borrow. So I'd happily nip up and move it for you, but it would have to be on a Saturday.

Funnily enough, I saw an oldish landy on a trailer being pulled along near your area just last week when I was driving through with my lorry load of chickens.

Ive asked a local vehicle moving company to do it for me , seems like least hassle for all involved as driving a landy from anywhere to anywhere to get a trailer and back then back again to drop trailer off costs a bomb.

Hopefully these guys are as good as their feed back says.

My garage by pure chance is just big enough to get a stock 90 in under the door ..... Need to get that lintel lifted when the barn doors go on !
 
be very wary of Shipley - I used them once - the guy picked up my motor and then dumped it at the motorway services later that day :mad:
 
he is moving it 10 miles ill be behind him all the way ...... Because its easy to get lost you understand ;)
 
Well good news , del didnt dump it in a service station good result- turned up with lwb transit and a brian james trailer

If any one in aberdeenshire needs a fella to move a vehicle just gies a pm and ill pass his number

in its new home ! Although i did find out my fuel return hasnt magically fixed its self :( - phase 2 - locate 3.5 / 3.9 efi disco to steal engine box and axle :)
