Ive done 300 miles on my first mix of veg oil and my filter was blocked.
Does it normally block this quick

Im now running 70% new veg oil and 30% kero and seems to run a lot better

Depends on how dirty your fuel system was before you introduced the veg, presumably it was new veg oil? Veg and biodiesel are powerful solvents.
Do not run kero,it is not legal fuel in the UK,mix with diesel or diesel/petrol.
If you get dipped on kero you will regret it

Hi thanks for the reply and in that case ill mix it with diesel. If i mix it with petrol how much would you recommend i use? And it is new veg oil

if pos only mix with derv, if petrol no more than 40-1 ish (not a lot)as petrol doesn`t lubricate pump:D

Was running mine on 100% before I started the rechassis , never had to change the fuel filter, but always kept one in the back just incase.

Was that 100% new veg oil or bio??

i did run both 100% but i also sometimes cut it with a mix of petrol diesel waste fuel from work. cant beat that free running lark.
i should mention i did run a full tank of derv through it every once in a while, i don't know if it helps any but made me feel a bit better for doing it, and i also had an inline filter before the origional filter.

From my experience the big issue is the temp outside, next time its freezing outside, poor some veg oil into a glass and leave it outside, the next morning it'll be as thick as your average Chav this is why the pumps just can't the fuel to the injectors. Mid summer is fine, I generally run 80% in the summer. 50/50 in the winter.
