Hi all just a quick question I was wondering if anybody knows a good place to source some cheap veg oil around the somerset area.
 
Farm foods is £9.95 for 10 litres if you have any shops local

And if you go on the web and print of vouchers for £2.50 off every £25 you spend.
 
20L drums at Costco are £18, it's got a modifying agent in but so has all veg oil, my 200tdi runs lovely on it, if a bit smelly,
 
numpty question.................can you just add veg oil to yer diesel ?? or have you got to flush all the diesel out?? ......... or am I getting it all wrong??

just chuck it in yer tank i do a 50 /50 mix all the time
 
so if I was to get say 20lts on a Friday shop, I could just bung it in? what if the mix is more veg than diesel, would that matter ??


so why bother with bio diesel then? or is that cheaper again???
 
There really needs to be a sticky on running on cooking oil and the FAQ's. fed up of every time cooking oil is mentioned, there is a thousand questions asked and they are always the same ones. they end up just taking over the thread and then there is a big debate as to weather it's good for the engine or not.

Thought the thing to do was tell them to do a search FFS
Wonder if Pirrelli have been on for tyre advice:cool:
 
In going to do a write up and see if I can get it as a sticky. That way there is no excuse for the noobs
 
Sorry for asking a simple question next time if you just gona be noobs about it do it somewhere else alright and leave the convo for people who actualy want some advice.

Didnt say it was my forum did I or cant u read but like I said I was looking for advice seen as I was unsure about going ahead with it l. I thought this was a site to find advice so far seems like its just for people who want to give smart fuking answers to make them feel good.
