Regarding my 300tdi Discovery 1996.
Does anyone know what the internal diameter of the heater matrix hoses is? I'm looking to buy the right size T-pieces so I can route them to a heat exchanger to pre-heat the veg oil before the injector pump. Also wonder if anyone knows a good source for these parts.
Another question is would 8mm microbore be wide enough to supply enough veg oil for the fuel demands of this engine?
Also, as a seperate fuel lift pump (and filter) is required to avoid too much of a delay in fuel switch over I am a bit scared of getting one with too much pressure for the system. I believe the mechanical lift pump presents at around 8psi, but the electric ones I've seen seem to present at around 25psi. Anyone got any thoughts on this.
I've had a good rummage around the forums but without much luck so any advice would be gratefully received.
