We'll it looks like my FL I got May be a bit of a lemon :/ still I would like to try and fix it, I tried the one wheel up test and the was no resistance what so ever, I looked underneath as I span the wheel and both prop shalfs were turning so what dose this mean?
I'm sorry if you have covered this in other post I looked through and could find nothing any advise would be helpful

Also I found someone had removed the HDC warning light bulb :/ so I replaced it and now it is permently on :( are these two problems related?

Thanks in advance

To answer your second question first, the answer is no. There's no connection between the free rotation of the wheels and the HDC light being on.
Check the other warning lights for missing bulbs or LED'S.
If you spin a rear wheel and the front section of propshaft rotates, then there is a very real chance the IRD is goosed. Often this failure is caused by the VCU stiffening up.

Thanks for the fast reply
Looks like I will be replacing both VCU and IDR :( or maybe the cost will be to high as I should replace the cam belt to and maybe the head gasket I may have bitten of more than I can chew :(

Could the HDC problem be a costly fix also?

The IRD is expensive to sort unless you can find a good second hand replacement. The VCU can be reconditioned.
The HDC lights can be easily fixed or a little more challenging. Do a search on here. Pretty much all the information you need is here ;)
