Ad no time today will try tomorrow but don't want to burn compressor out filling the tank once put pipes back on and drier I've it don't work I will bloody Give up

The drier seal split maybe your problem good luck. But you should have found that a long time ago if you had progressed logically..
 
Getting there got the drier back on started it up its taking ages to fill the tank but the rears went up but the fronts are taking an age I did notice a few bubbles at the bulk head end of the valve block when i switched of the engine but they could be from that filter thing
 
Did notice the bags went down as soon as I switched off where they would normally stay inflated all week with the car parked

Did you run the compressor with door open to see if it stopped? If it doesn't stop you still have a leak. With door open it should fill tank in 5 or 6 minutes and stop. Then when you close door car should rise and compressor start up again then stop when tank is full. The very first thing you MUST have is the compressor stopping with a tank full of air with no leaks.

Yer tried that but compressor just kept running all the time I can hear the tank filling underneath so next wkend will follow the pipe with water spray and find the hole

As the exhaust often blows over the back axle and melts the main feed to the air tank.
Is hellish difficult to find without putting a real compressor on pipe and hearing the leak.
Doesnt take much of a leak
 
All I could here was like the tank filling but someone said u can’t hear it filling so will jack up the back nxt wkend and have a good look at the pipe
 
I agree you wont hear the tank filling
The pipe runs inside a conduit so cant be easily inspected

My memory might be failing but since when did the tank feed pipe go near the rear axle? The three pipes feeding the O/S and N/S bags and the tank, go across from N/S to O/S below the transmission tunnel. They then go along the chassis frame. Tank feed goes to tank in front of fuel tank. Other two carry on along chassis, one directly to O/S bag the other then goes up and across in body recess to N/S then forwards to feed N/S bag. Feed for tank does not go near rear axle.
