Hi, first post and thanks in advance for any help...
I went to my local dealer to test drive a 2013 Range Rover today as the price is now far more affordable than when I was looking a couple of years back. Loved the car, but the dealer explained to me that it had been on their forecourt for 6 months and they had had to drop the price over £10k to try and move it on. He mentioned that early models of the current car have just not been shifting, but this is starting to change with signs of life in the market starting to appear once more.
So, my query is really about the cost of the ownership experience I can expect. I really can't afford my pride and joy to depreciate at this sort of level going forward. Are people scared by the recent rumblings about diesel or what else is causing this? Or, is now the time to jump in as the market has corrected and I might get to drive an amazing car at normal running costs.
Realise I'm asking for a bit of crystal ball gazing as to what might happen, but I'm sure many of you will be better placed than me to make sense of the above. thanks again.
