But its the damage you can do with one.A mate of mine was an insurance broker and tried for years to get a transport company's buisness, he got it and the next day one of their tankers ran into standing traffic on the motorway it cost the insurance company millions, They went to another company when the renewal was due. That's exactly what they valued mine at. That's less than scrap value.
No scraped, it is a dealership they were checked, I bet a lot went to africa thoughYou mean the scrappage scheme where the cars were sold abroad

Didn't do the rabbit any goodI've still got that lucky rabbits foot somewhere?
They do indeed. I paid £2k for my FL2, with a misfire and noisy diff, it's cost me under £3,000 to sort, including replacing all the brakes. When I insured it, the automatic valuation came up as £5,400, so that made me happy. On some comparison insurance web sites they give you a true valuation!
Bulk of them are still on an airfield just rotting away, they can't even be parted out. Have to be scrapped. Some of the vehicles that went through the scrappage scheme was criminal. My old neighbour worked at a dealer and he brought a slack handful of cars off punters for the 2k the scheme offered and then sold them on himself because he couldn't let them go to scrap and the punters had no interest in selling them on.Loads were parked up in fields for years afterwards. Saw a load somewhere, might have been near Bristol. Probably went on a ship somewhere.
Criminal given the amount of energy it takes to make a car.
