I'm sure the question has been answered somewhere but for life of me I can't seem to find it.

I have some damaged pipes from the vacuum reservoir that need replacing but was wonwonder if anyone knows the size of the hoses il need to buy, they look either 4 or 6mm??

4mm will go on nice and tight I have just replace mine go for ones that do petrol and are cotton braid covered Here is the eBay number 130978924762 but part of the vacuum system like from the back of the engine has a thxicker tube to the turbo but I did not replace that because it was ok also the tube I recommend the local lands place uses it.

I use 3.2mm and purchased 10mtrs as we use this at our meets we have through out the year, on the M47 R40 they tend to get rubbed and can get holed.

Thank you for your replies especially on the petrol and cotton braid part I wouwo not have looked for that. I'm intending to do them all brought my freelander 2-3 weeks ago already spent £300 on it to catch up on the lack of maintenance previously carried out.
