Morning all anyone help got V8 petrol td5 can I put diesel engine in it and pros and cons

Td5 petrol?
Take it you have a disco 2?
Yes, you can. Pros-cheaper to run. Cons-a load of work to do.

I guess you are confused a wee bit. Td5 is the diesel engine version.

There I was stupidly thinking TD5 meant 5 Cylinder Turbo-Diesel.

Yes v8 discovery 2 naff engine good chassis also got td5 good engine but rotten wanted to put td5 motor in to v8 any idea if will work and what bits need to change, Ya for any advice
