Hi All

Can anybody recommend a source for a 4.6 V8 thermostat?
My usual source is £$£$£ for an OEM one. Are the aftermarkets any good?
What is the best option?

Mine failed open some time ago and I thought I better check it over while I had the cooling system in parts. Sure enough it seems to be lose in the housing.

personally id go genuine only as this little part could cost thousands in the long run

Yes, I agree. I searched for the part numebr on Google, hit shopping to see what came up and the one in the link said OEM in a LR box (in the photo). Misguiding I reckon.

I am guessing then that OEM may not mean genuine?

If so, I better get the wallet out!

PS yes and by OEM I mean from a stealer not people selling "OEM quality" or "OEM alternative"!
