Hi Again Guys,

Now i have solved the transfer viscous coupling i am back to trying to sort the intermittent running issues.

I took the RR to work again yesterday morning, i had done about 3 - 4 miles when i got stuck in a little jam, the revs dropped to about 100 150 rpm but the car still revved cleanly and pulled without any problems. It done this for a short while whilst moving in a slow jam maybe 3 minutes until the jam cleared and i got going again. A minute or so later i got stuck in a small jam again and was ready for it to drop again but it did not and ran fine for the rest of the trip. The RR is a 3.9 EFi on a 93 plate. If the car had a standard carb with a choke i would suspect the problem to be with the choke either cutting of to soon or to late but with it all being electric i am stuck.

I have so far changed, plugs, coil, ignition amp, coil, rotor arm and cap.

I think i am going to change the coolant temp sensor in case this is misreading the engine temp and is the ecu is confused and is over fueling for a cold engine, the lamda sensor will then detect to much fuel in the exhaust gas maybe and cut the fuel hence the revs dropping.

Any Ideas?.

I'd defo do the CTS. How have you found the running after changing all the other components?

Check also the wiring to the CTS, it can get damaged with heat, so make sure it's in good condition.
