I am after some advice on the best solution regrading how to adapt the steering box using a Rover v8 in a series 2 as the manifold does not have any clearance.

The manifold is off a discovery 3.9, not sure if I need to use a different manifold set up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the replies, the steering bar sits over the chassis and the track rod end fouls the manifold. I have attached another photo taken from the top to show the manifold and the steering arm. It looks like I need a different set up.

Could you use a shorter tre end and nut? It's a shame you couldn't use a straight arm, it would give you clearance and space for a heat shield

If it's any help, the Range Rover classic V8 uses different manifolds L & R
I assume the Disco set-up is identical as the chassis is effectively the same as the RRC.
