Disco 2 V8 - 4.5K repairs in 18 months then found out it had a block liner issue. Sold for spares and repairs - got the money back that I spent on repairs and lost the then 14k cost of purchase.....
......a lot of Disco 2 also suffer from terminal chassis rot....Avoid like the plague......

Or you could just check the chassis condition before buying? Its not exactly hidden away.

now, wise old men eye up old diesels fitted to landies, as they do like a drop of veggie so they say
£1 per litre or much less if bought in bulk, no fecking change over switches from unleaded to lpg, no worry about finding lpg outlets - no worries then....
