We have sparks and fuel, new leads, plugs, dizzy cap, rotor arm.

inertia switch is ok still won't fire.

proper lost now any ideas would be most appreciated.

Thanks for your replies.
In answer to JuiceyV8 the starter does turn over

In answer to disco mike not sure what you mean by the injectors switching (bit of a novice i'm afraid)but can say that there is fuel there when you take the plugs out and a strong smell of petrol/ gas, depending on which i am trying to start it on from the exhaust.

And in answer to yoda-says the lights on my switch are green but they are all illuminated.

Once again thanks for your comments and time.

check the igntion timing, it's becoming an old favourite now!

also, leave the lpg alone until you can get it running on petrol. if you put a long screwdriver against an injector and then hold the handle part like in your ear, if a mate turns the engine over you will be able to hear the injector clicking through the screwdriver. try this on all 8.

then remove the plugs and make sure you have got a good, strong spark. im talking bright flash, not a weak fizz.

could be the timing though, like you say if you can smell fuel its probably getting it.

good luck :)

if the plugs are soaking as mine were last year then it might just be badly flooded and there are no routes for it to evapourate off easliy.

I pulled all eight plugs out and spun it over with the fuel pump relay out till it dried out and then she fired right up and you can do your adjustments.

Yippeee!!

Sorted, turned out to be a duff coil although it was new part three weeks ago and everything was fine until it cut out.

Mr noisey's comment abought the strength of the spark was the leaning towards the coil I needed.

Thanks for all your comments most appreciated and hope I can return the favour one day.
