Its had new coil leads, plugs, ecu, fuel temp sender, pump is fine.... plugs are flooding every time i try and start it from cold, it tries to fire but just wont catch...
Once its started its fine :)
Please some one help before i burn it :)

When you say once it's started it's fine? Does it idle on it's own for 5 mins without touching the throttle? And is it responsive when just started?

I would'nt know really coz when it catches i been keeping my foot on the throttle, which has not been very often lately :)
If i go out in the morning and take all the plugs out and clean them turn the key it will run for about 3 seconds fine at about 2 rpm then die.... then the trouble starts....

I tried the earth with the jumps leads :(

have you moved the base idle screw or the AFM adjusting screw? was it ever running right? if it was too rich before no its reall cold weather it will be piling the fuel in there!

if I havnt already told you this, the temp senders need to be genuine not ****part, as ****part ones dont even work from new sometimes.

is it 3.5 or 3.9? the 3.5 has a cold start injector which maybe be sticking open?

The temp sender came off a spare engine i have that i know works, its run all year running rich and never had any trouble.....loads of power!
its a 3.9

it probably will run if the sensor is off but it wont do it any favours as it will wash the oil out of the bore a bit.

also it will be costing you an arm and a leg.

the plugs being right will show if the engine is running properly

I pulled off the fuel return when it was running and no fuel was coming out, also i pulled off the afm while it was running and it still runs fine when its not plugged in, or should i say it don't make no difference at all ????
