Hi, this is a call for help for my mate, his gearbox packed up before Xmas and he sourced a second hand one to replace it, he got someone to fit it for him and the gearbox is fine apart from now instead of the gears being park, reverse, neutral, drive, second and first, they are now park, reverse, neutral, first, second and drive, any one have an idea what the issue may be !

selector cable issue ,arm secured to shaft poking out of box should point downwards

no ,just fit selector properly
Thanks for the replies, I'll do a bit of searching now so I can sort it for him, never done anything with auto boxes before
I was hoping you we're going to say it had one forward gear and 4 reverse gears!
Hhhmmmm now that would have been interesting to drive
