In between the volume and channel buttons on the V6 there is a centre small switch marked 'Mode' - can't find reference to it in any handbook. Will find out what it does in due course, but anyone know?? Thanks !

It changes the head unit from radio to CD or radio from FM to MW, I can't remember which now. Only some years had the mode button, and my facelift doesn't.

I didn’t think mode option was used on Freelander - Discovery 2 used it and some Rover cars

It was on my V6, so maybe it's just a V6 thing?.
