hi everyone. can i use the v6 bearing on my td4 if i grind the extension piece off the bottom.They look exactly the same except for the extended height.I am asking because i ordered the wrong parts and i need to do the job VERY soon.all help greatly appreciated.

Yes you can. Would it not be better to sell the incorrect bearings on and order the correct ones.

.Thanks N odge... I live in Ireland and bought the parts online..I need to do the job soon as the noise is quite bad..I do a 50 mile round trip every day to get to work
