Sorry for the delay in getting back.
I have checked all fuses and all are ok both in engine compartment and also under steering wheel. There is a burnt fusible link FL13 but feel this has been like this for some time? There has obviously been work done to the electrics before I owned the car.
Getting very upset with this car as it is definitely now tending towards the unreliable end of the scale.
MOT due in 2 weeks so not looking good.
