I have just had the turbo go u/s on my 95 2.5 DSE with the BMW engine.

(10 miles after fitting a replacement gearbox and a second clutch in twelve weeks!!!)
This same engine was used in the Vauxhall Omega

The Omega turbo is a Mitsubishi 47177-06420

The P38 uses a Mitsubishi 47177-06430

Anyone on here swaped the two and if so what difference is there?

There could be a few differences, inlet/outlet hose diameters, possibly fan ratio's or just the angles that inlets/outlet are set at...

they are not changable p38 blows uphill omega blows downhill in a p38 turbo hits the engine mount,you cant even spin the vent round as the wastgate is the wrong side then
