Hi All. I'm prepping my Landy for a European tour.
I'm using quite a few USB powered bits and bobs (phone charger, Garmin Handheld GPS etc). All of these devices need to be plugged into one of those handy USB adapters that plug into your aux socket.
I'm a bit anal, and hate the cables getting in the way of the switches and gear stick. I also hate having the aux socket taken up, when I need it for my laptop (I run my GPS off it).
I've managed to do away with the adapter and installed USB sockets for powering devices. It's quite an easy thing to do.
Piccies are here and I've written up some instructions here.
It may or may not be useful, but thought I'd share it. Happy Days
