All,
i have a range rover p38 that has now got engine immobilized message on screen, it was working fine all week until the frost hit last night, the doors are not all opening only the drivers, so going through the pages here it says that the door locking mechanism is failing , also it does not open on the fob, only by the key. so it looks like this is the culprit, have spoken to two so call RR specialists who both said write it off and not interested in P38;s !! so two questions, 1. am i right in assuming this is the cause ? 2. does anyone know of a mobile land rover specialist that are in the Coventry area, who can fix the latch or, turn off the immobilizer etc, to say that i am gutted is a understatement, i loved the car, but all i get is negative reports from mechanics. so thinking the writing off will be the only option at this rate.
any help would be great
thanks
