Today I have been driving my 90 all over. It's been working perfectly fine, starts up spot on!... I just walked back to my car, turn the and then nothing. I'm a fair distance from home. Anyone have any clue whats up with it? :s

Bit too far for me.
Have you checked the obvious - battery and starter connections etc?
 
immobiliser? my keyfob battery went thismorning in tesco, drove it fine all the way there then beep from the car, turn the key + nothing! i was like WTF. then i remembered a thread i read........
£5 fix. ;)
 
made it home in the end guys thanks. i was told to give the starter motor a good whacking because the solenoid might be buggered, so far nothing. it turned over a little today then the nothing..... new starter motor? :S

my fender has no immobiliser but thanks for the reply :)
 
Does the engine turn over at all?? If not check the engine earths - I had a nightmare with my 200tdi refusing to start...... connecting a jump-lead direct from the engine to the -ve battery terminal identified the problem straight away

thanks for the advice guys. the starter is off at the moment so ill if it still doesn't work ill give your thoughts a try :)
