I see they give you instructions and treat you as if you were a child when updating nanaom but i wish they would give instruction for an adult as a child can probably do it faster without the instructions.
I have got as far as extracting the file from zip but they say there should be 2 files in the folder but theres only one and cant be opened.and also the help file is in rar format and cant be read and have had a rude email from nanacom support and very unhelpfull.
if you make a cock up of the download they will charge you 100$ to fix it.
have been trying for 2 hrs now and got nowhere.
rapidly loosing the will to live
 
WinRar, Winzip, 7zip, any of those should unzip it.

I had an issue when I did mine whereby the help files in the directory wouldn't open but when I started the install a link popped up and on clicking it the help-files opened and it was very straight-forward from there on in.

I assume yours is the later aluminium box Nanocom and not the plastic Nano-1?

There's a new option for a factory reset state that I was very happy to see. Hope I never need it but ... !
 
I unzipped eveything and in Windows Explorer I get:

So have you all resolved how you update your nano's?
I am interested, as I cannot see where you can get these updates on the website and that only with the nano plugged in via USB with a Sd card for transferring files ?
0r is it in the register'd section owners only ?

Go to the site login and goto downloads. Download the update to your computer. Plug Nanocom into USB port (Without SD card). Find the saved program on your computer and run the EXE file. Instructions are on that. You do not need the RAR file.

Thanks ordered one now want to get all updates done before I use it unless a late model will have this done does it have an update version in its menus to tell what its had ect

If you have just ordered one it should come with the latest update already in it.
