Yeah just in Dronfield. I'll try look up the Mansfield place.

Haven't had a rad flow test but it's a brand new rad. The entire cooling system is brand new

So took it out again and drove it like I stole it but still can't get it to go over 100.
Infra red saying therm casing is 82 and head is 95.

Gonna meet 2 others tomorrow and compare heats, smells, pressure etc.

It is staying at a consistent temp but is that just because it hasn't managed to fully blow the gasket yet?

Might just take it away and see how it goes or option 2 is head off again and get it tested, or get another head but time doesn't favour that optionn

I had a temperature problem a few years ago, and drove with the bonnet off over some big hills (not in the UK) to try and get more air moving around. Even though engine was cooler (pressure in pipes and general heat) Didn't make much of a difference to the temp dial. Turned out the sender bit in the coolant system wasn't the correct one for my dial (at least that's what I was told by a man who knew), possibly an issue with the engine coming from a 94 discovery and the car being an '85 110. New sender, all worked well.
